All of our paints and glitters are professional quality and specifically designed for use on skin. Most of what we use is water based makeup. For pool parties or other events where a lot of water is involved, we will use water-proof paints.
WATER-BASED:
We use water-based paints and glitters for most occasions.
1. If your paint has been on for a long time, you can start by laying a lightly damp paper towel or baby wipe across the painted area. DO NOT SOAK the face with water. Let it sit for 30-60 seconds and it will begin to loosen and soak into the paper. This makes the next step a little easier :)
2. Apply a small amount of gentle soap (tear free recommended for faces) to the area with paint or glitter.
2. Gently rub the area to loosen the paint and work the soap into a small lather.
3. Let sit for 30 seconds if possible
4. Take a washcloth with warm water or a baby wipe and gently wipe off the area working AWAY from the eyes. The paint and glitter should come off easily.
5. Some darker paint colors may require 2 soap applications.
WATER-RESISTANT or WATER-PROOF PAINT & GLITTER TATTOO:
We use water-resistant or water-proof paint on certain occasions. ALL of our glitter tattoos are water-resistant.
You should have received a small wipe from your artist when you got your face paint. If you did not receive a wipe, lost it, or it isn't enough to get your paint off--DO NOT DESPAIR!
Our products can be removed with a variety of items including: micellar water with makeup melting properties, coconut oil, or makeup remover wipes or oils.
Essentially anything that will take off water-proof mascara will break down the water-resistant face paint and glitter tattoos. You may need to repeat the process more than once for complete removal.
